This surface coat can be brushed on, but spreading with a squeegee is recommended. Due to its higher viscosity, it can be applied in thicker films without developing runs or sags. It is specially formulated to provide strong inter-laminar bonds with the reinforcing materials, even if it is left unsupported overnight. #1099 resists chipping and cracking, and retains its high gloss.
